Hi I'm Andrea, the creator & owner of Sweet Dreamery Desserts. One of the first things you'll
notice about me; I'm usually smiling or laughing! My family loves to laugh & enjoy life. And, I
treat people the way I want to be treated. I'm a hardworking single Mom and I love my kids
(4
boys & 1 girl)
. Speaking of kids, my kids have always supported my dream of opening my own
bakery. And, now that they are older, two of them have joined our staff. I'm a lifetime
Chocoholic and I love to bake. I've had a love of baking long before it became a trend.

One of our goals at Sweet Dreamery is to donate baking lessons to children from underprivileged
& foster families.  Positive reinforcement will take place in the form of fun, learning & building
self esteem.

I opened my first bakery when I was about 8 years old. I received two Easy Bake Ovens for
Christmas, I was in business. My baked goodies sold out almost every time.  My sisters & I would
enjoy the leftovers. Mom was a baker too, she baked loaves of bread, Belizean Hot Cross Bun &
many fruit cakes. She baked the best German Chocolate Cake.  And, one summer she decided
to teach me how to bake my own. And, as I grew older I was able to spend time in Mom and
Dad's Belizean restaurant, both of my parents loved cooking and baking. They were always
competing to see who could out do the other. Our family had fun in the kitchen and we love
good food.

Every holiday I would watch & if lucky assist Mom with her baking. She would bake for family,
friends & anyone who wanted to purchase her baked goods. My Mom would use fresh & natural
ingredients. I admired her values & to this day her standards are alive in Sweet Dreamery
Desserts.

Sweet Dreamery does support local nonprofit organizations when possible. We have
participated in LAUSD's Read Across America. We have donated cupcakes to The Supporting
Cast Foundation. During Cupcake Camp LA we donated hundreds of cupcakes to support the
featured charities.  This cause is very close to my heart. TSCF focuses on literacy. I love to
read! We have donated baked goods to USC's(Pi Beta Phi) Pi Social's annual bake sale to raise
funds for First Books Campaign, which provides children in need with brand new books. We are
proud to support these causes.
